Professor at Regional Engineering College, Srinagar, Prof. & Head, Deptt. of Applied Sciences, SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka, visiting Professor SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, and SDM College of Physiotherapy, Dharwad, Karnataka. He has also worked as visiting Research Fellow with IIT, Bombay. He was Chief Investigator for two research projects funded by DST, and BRNS, Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. He has published more than 40 research papers in National and International Journals and in the proceedings of International and National Conferences. He has guided 3 Ph.D, 4 M.Phil., and 14 MDS students. |

Prof. Koul has served as Dean (HR) at SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad and at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also served as Dean (HR), and Director, Career Planning & Development Division, Galgotias Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. For the last TEN years he has been closely connected with Training and Placement, Industry-Institute Interaction, personality development programs and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. He has been associated with top industries under Industry–Institution Interaction and Entrepreneurship programs and has gained rich experience in industry culture. He has developed and implemented some innovative training modules for the students to make them corporate savvy. He is life member of Indian Physics Association, Indian Society for Technical Education and Indian Association of Radiation Physics. He is Fellow of Institution of Electronic and Communication Engineers and has served as president, The Academy of Science, Dharwad, Karnataka. He has serviced as Chairman, Board of Studies and Board of Examiners in Applied Physics at Karnataka University and as member at BOS of Gulbarga, Bangalore and Viveshwariah Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka. He is associated with many social and cultural organizations of the country. Prof. Koul was nominated in “Contemporary Who is Who-2003” and was awarded “Man of the Year -2003” and “American Gold Medal of Honour - 2004” by American Biographical Society, U.S.A. |
