The 19th edition of Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama on 20 th September was conducted at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, to encourage engineering students to become entrepreneurs and to provide information. More than 200 students from the district and affiliated colleges of various colleges of the state participated in the program.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Rajiv Sikka, General Manager, Indraprastha Gas Limited, New Delhi, Prof. Shailesh Tiwari, Head of CS Department, Mr. Mahendra Gupta, Head of ABESEC Startups Lab Department and Saurabh Singh Consultant of AKTU.
While addressing the inaugural session, the Chief Guest said that India is moving towards developing country.
The theme of the workshop held in the 19th edition of the Startup Parikrama was the medicinal value of the workshop by the various speakers who enlightened the participants through their ideas. The speakers of the workshop were Mr. Abhishek Dubey (Founder Mukasn Dreams), Mr. Nikhil Gupta (General Secretary, WheelChair Rugby Federation Of India), Mr. Shivam Ahuja (Founder, Delhi Startups & Delhi Angels) & Mr. V K Mehta (Retd. GM, Bharat Electronics Ltd.).
The Chief Guest of the inaugural and valedictory ceremony were Mr. Rajiv Sikka, Director(Commercial), IGL, New Delhi and Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Chairman, Indian Industry Association (Ghaziabad Chapter).
In the second part of the program, the program was organized in which the 12 teams presented their various positions in the first and second prize.
As the chief guest of the closing ceremony, Pradip Gupta, Chairman, P. L. P. Panchangam rewarded the winning team.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Institute Neeraj Goyal, Vice Chairman Sachin Goyal, Advisor Raghunandan Council, and Director Prof. Gajendra Singh conveyed the best wishes to the winning team.
