Training and Development team of CCPD is continuously analyzing changes in the global market and industries expectations. In today’s world survival of the fittest is in trend, organizations are not only looking for individuals with a prescribed Technical skills set but more importantly individuals with a propensity to demonstrate ‘Hard skills’ efficiently. Training and Development Team of CCPD has created a platform for students to horn their Employability skills along with Aptitude through various activities like SEEP (Student Employability Enhancement Program) and Aptitude Skills Enhancement Program.

Student Employability enhancement Program (SEEP)

Employability skills is a behavioristic psychology term for an individual's approach in real time work situation. It can be broadly defined as personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job and career prospects. Whether it involves face to face customer interaction or even indirect correspondence over telephone or e-mail, employees adept at Employability skills will achieve both individual as well as organizational success. Hence these skills is critical to showcasing one's hard skills; both can be considered to be two sides of the same coin - one without the other has no impact.

Objective

Enhancing skills with individualist as well as holistic approach is the center of SEEP, which has one aim to make students employable in whole with several specific goals further as per each semester. Students get introduced to these programs from second semester onwards and be remain till they get the dream jobs.

  • Semester 2
    Course Objective –This course focuses on building confidence level in students for presenting themselves and increasing their Basic English Speaking skills by giving them platform to represent themselves. Inculcating in them the habit of reading which would widen up their knowledge base and vocabulary.
  • Semester 3
    Course Objective – This course is designed to focus on individual personality enhancement with code and guidelines for behavior that makes the student presentable. It would help the students to come up as leaders with good and timely decision making with the help of lateral thinking.
  • Semester 4
    Course Objective – This course is designed to focus on individual personality enhancement with code and guidelines for behavior that makes the student presentable. It would help the students to come up as leaders with good and timely decision making with the help of lateral thinking.
  • Semester 5
    Course Objective – The course focuses on the students to have a clear perception of his or her personality including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivation and emotions with a positive state of mind. It focuses to present specific technique for retaining a positive attitude. It helps the students to use his ideas and demonstrate creativity in speech.
  • Semester 6
    Course Objective – This semester is meant for the rigorous practice session on group discussion, interview and resume writing. Focus will be on making the students placement ready.

Aptitude Skills Enhancement Program

Companies nowadays provide adequate work related training to their employees themselves, but they require the recruit to be competent and able enough to imbibe that training quickly and effectively. This is why aptitude skills have become an integral part of all recruitment processes. Aptitude Skills Enhance Program of ABES Engineering College enhances, Numeric abilities, logical, critical and verbal reasoning along with the problem solving capabilities of the students. ABES Engineering College is strengthening the present of tomorrow’s human resources of our Country.

Objective

The sole objective of imparting aptitude training is to make students able to critically evaluate various real life situations by resorting to analysis of key issues and factors. They should be smart enough to read between the lines and understand various language structures. This Aptitude Training helps them to demonstrate various principles involved in solving mathematical problems and thereby reducing the time taken for performing job functions.

Students get involved in Aptitude Training as a part of curriculum from fifth semester onwards till they get the JOB.
