To achieve this goal, ABES Engineering College has establishing a “CENTER FOR CAREER PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT, CCPD, a center to develop and work for a strong Industry Academia Interface.  

CENTER FOR CAREER PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT, CCPD is established at ABES Engineering College to cater to develop and work for a strong Industry- Academia Interface. CCPD, with the feed back and help of Corporate, ensures that the teaching-learning procedures maintain a minimum teaching standard and teaching is imparted with latest tools available, incorporating all elements which enable the students to become well suited for the job market. In order to explore student’s abilities to the fullest, events like group discussion, lectures by the specialist in communication skills, confidence building, stress and time management and attitudinal development are organized. This subsequently moulds them as per competitive market requirement and making the student feel confidant by developing in them both leadership qualities as well as managerial skills and still be sensitive to human compassion. Besides all such activities, the CCPD curriculum lays emphasis on case studies and practical training over the full academic calendar year without affecting the normal schedule of teaching. The center is an independent unit with dedicated and experienced staff, taking decisions to facilitate in carrying out the responsibilities and achieving its aims & objectives.
Aims & Objectives :
  • Interact with the Corporate above training & placement activities.
  • Promote close industry-institution relationship.
  • Explore industry visit by the student and the arrangements thereafter.
  • Arrange guest lectures by the experts from industry.
  • Arrange soft skills training programs for the students.
  • Explore possibility of industry partnership resulting in signing of MOU for long term & short term basis.
  • Promote the brand image of the institution under ABES-EC
  • Arrange both in campus and off campus placement procedures.
  • Prepare the data of students for all the academic years as desired by Corporate.
  • Prepare the data bank of Corporate in NCR region and all over the country.
  • Discuss the performance parameter with the experts from the industry after placement procedures are completed.
  • Provide the feed back from industry to the departments for follow-up action, if any, for overcoming the shortcomings.
  • Develop interactions with the departments, which include, HOD & Faculty, for
  • Any additional academic input to be given to students, as required by the corporate.
  • Encourage the industry to support the project and laboratory training.
  • To generate Entrepreneurship awareness amongst the students and also in the faculty
  • Explore the faculty enablement program with the industry to update the faculty with recent technological developments.
  • To interact with Alumni & get their feed back about institutions’ functioning, its performance and how they can help the students and their Almamatar.
