About National Cadet Corps (NCC)
At ABES Engineering College, we believe in nurturing leadership, discipline, and a spirit of national service among our students. In alignment with this vision, the NCC Unit of ABES Engineering College was officially established on 25th November 2024, under the affiliation of the 37th UP Battalion, Ghaziabad, which operates under the Uttar Pradesh Directorate.
Our Strength
The unit proudly comprises 40 highly motivated cadets and is guided by the tireless dedication of Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Dr. Neha Singh Raghuvanshi. With a strong emphasis on character-building and leadership, the unit is steadily growing into a force of socially responsible and nationally aware individuals.
Milestones & Achievements
- 3 cadets earned the prestigious ‘C’ Certificate in March 2025.
- All 40 cadets are undergoing disciplined preparation for the ‘B’ Certificate examination in March 2026.
- 7 cadets were selected for the prestigious Thal Sena Camp
- 3 cadets reached the Inter-Battalion (Inter-BN) level and proudly bagged Silver Medals.
- 2 cadets were further shortlisted for the Inter-Group level, a mark of high calibre.
- 4 cadets have been formally conferred with NCC ranks for their outstanding discipline and leadership: 3 Corporals and 1 Sergeant
- The unit regularly holds drills, theory classes, and training sessions aligned with the NCC curriculum for ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates.
- Our cadets are being shaped to be defence-ready, corporate-confident, and socially responsible citizens.

Guidance & Leadership
The unit flourishes under the consistent mentorship of Dr. Neha Singh Raghuvanshi, the Associate NCC Officer. Her grounded leadership and quiet commitment ensure that cadets are not only trained in drills and protocols but are also infused with the core values of the NCC motto – “Unity and Discipline.” While she prefers to stay modest about her role, her influence and dedication form the backbone of the unit’s steady success.
