10. How department supports in Higher Studies?
GATE Classes are organised to join institutes like IIT/NIT for higher studies. Students are motivated to attend seminar held in IIT/NIT. Papers published by their final year projects. By setting examples that through Higher studies even an average student can do better in his life. By discussing realistic problems which are not solved and still as research need in that field.

11. Whether there is an established system mentor – mentee program at departmental level?
Yes, Each mentor is assigned a group of 15-20 mentees with whom he/she interacts throughout the semesters. The mentorship process includes face-to-face interactions, one to one contact monitoring and feedbacks

12. How are the projects of final year selected by students?
Firstly, specialization of faculty members was taken. Then a list was prepared on the basis of specialization given by faculty members. Then students were given different fields of civil engineering like Structural engineering, Transportation engineering, etc. from the specialization sheet of faculties. Then a group of 5 or 6 students was formed and that group was required to choose topic of their interest from fields of civil engineering. If any student group is unable to select topic, then a project supervisor was allotted to them. Then through mutual consent of student and supervisor topic of project was finalised for that student.

13. What are the policies to motivate student to attend seminar/conferences or to publish research papers?
There is award polices for students who publish the research paper and also college provide conference fee and travelling allowance

14. What is the grievance redressal system at departmental level?
For grievance redressal student can fill grievance details in S-43 form and submit it to departmental SGRC. The SGRC handles the matter and keep the student acknowledged.
