Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities (ASH) is dedicated to lay the foundation for students in the fields of fundamental sciences and humanities, like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Professional Communication. The department is a stepping stone to the career building of budding technocrats and, per se, introduces the students to the basics of engineering as well. Through a well-designed curriculum and state-of-the-art laboratories, ASH provides hands-on experience of the facts of science, thus inculcating a scientific attitude. With an erudite class of faculty members and avant-garde laboratories, persistent academic excellence in terms of results and consistent mentoring of students, the department of Applied Sciences and Humanities builds the understructure for the edifice, called Engineering.
